Pattern Block Scaling is an all-time favorite. The simple question of how many small shapes it takes to build larger ones leads to an extraordinarily robust pattern and an apparently reliable conjecture. But can it be broken?
We’ve used versions of this lesson for over 12 years, but this current write-up, from our new Supplementary Curriculum, is our favorite version by far, not least because it extends the conjecture to 21st Century Pattern Blocks.
